Greenmount Billy Cart Challenge - Race Event

Experience the excitement as homemade billy carts race down the Greenmount hill in a fun, safe, community event for all ages. Kids, families, and even the grown-ups get to join in the action or cheer from the sidelines. Whether you love friendly competition or just watching a good thrill, it’s a great day out for everyone.

The Greenmount Hotel

Come in to the Greenmount Hotel, located right at the action packed finish line of the billy carts for a cold drink, a chef cooked pub lunch and a great view of the infamous last corner of the races! Also, live entertainment will be held at the Greenmount Hotel after the race day.

Greenmount State School Fundraising Food Stall

Have a delicious feed and get refreshments at the Greenmount State School P&C food stall, all to raise funds for future school events for our local primary school.

Food Vendor Vans

Multiple food vendors will be located in the back carpark of the Greenmount Hotel, to cover all of your extra appetites throughout the day.

Blossom Cafe & Post

Barrister coffee, snacks and delicious confectionary available at Blossom Cafe & Post. Also come to check out the amazing artworks and apparel on display.

Extra Fun for the kids!

If the kids need a break from the billy cart action, bring them in for some face painting or other fun, kid friendly activities. Located at the Greenmount Hotel carpark.

Greenmount Returned Soldiers Hall Stalls

Arts and crafts available in the hall just located near the start line to check out, as well as hot chips and other snacks available, to raise funds for the Greenmount Hall committee.

First Aid Stall Onsite

For safety of our cart entrants, spectators, and anyone in need during the day, we have first aid facilities available during the course of the race event in a conveniently located stall next to the track. Safety is our #1 priority at the Greenmount Billy Cart Challenge.
